Season Announcement: Role Debut as Don Carlo

West Horsley Place, the home of Grange Park Opera

Leonardo Capalbo will make his role debut as the title character in Verdi’s Don Carlo with Grange Park Opera in summer 2019. This also marks his company debut at The Theatre in the Woods at West Horsley Place. Later in 2019 Leonardo debuts the five-act French version of the role.

With Don Carlo, Leonardo expands his series of highly-acclaimed Verdi roles including Alfredo (La traviata), Duca (Rigoletto), Fenton (Falstaff), Ismaele (Nabucco), Macduff (Macbeth), Jacopo (I due Foscari), the Tenor Soloist of the Requiem, and most recently Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera).
